Bluesky allows users to set a domain name as their handle — for example, @yourname.com. If you’re using YourSitee, you can use one of its provided subdomains (like yourname.yrs.bio) as your handle on Bluesky.

Requirements

Before we begin, make sure you have:
  • A YourSitee account with an active and public sitee.
  • A Bluesky account with access to the domain verification section.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Log in to YourSitee

Log in to your YourSitee account.

Access Bluesky Settings

Log in to your Bluesky account and head over to your settings. Then go to the Account section.

Click the Handle Button

Click the “Handle” button.

Choose Domain Option

In the pop-up that shows, click “I have my own domain”, then click the “No DNS Panel” button.

Copy and Use a Domain

Copy one of the listed domains on the YourSitee website to use for your Bluesky username and paste it in the Bluesky pop-up.

Copy the DID

On the “Change Handle” page, press the copy button next to the text field starting with did:.

Paste the DID and Finish

Paste the copied content in the next step of the walkthrough pop-up, then click “Finish”.
