Welcome to the official YourSitee Glossary. This is a reference guide explaining the most common terms and features you’ll come across while using YourSitee and the Help Center.

Account Settings

The area where you can manage your personal details, login information, and general preferences.

Alpha or Beta Version

Early test versions of YourSitee released to a limited group of users before the full public launch.

Analytics

A section where you can see detailed insights about your Sitee visitors. How many people viewed your Sitee, interacted with your links, where they came from, and where they went next. All beautifully visualized with graphs.

Badge

A small icon that appears next to your display name on your Sitee. Badges can represent things like “Premium,” “Early Supporter,” or special staff badges. You can enable or disable badge display anytime from your Account Settings.

Bio

A short description or introduction about yourself. Most social platforms, like Instagram or TikTok, allow you to write a short bio that helps visitors learn more about you. Most platforms don’t let you add multiple links to your bio. Usually, you can only place one. This is where YourSitee comes in: you can add your unique YourSitee link here, which leads visitors to all your other content.

Bio Site

A website created for people who want to share more than one link in their bio. Since most social platforms limit you to a single bio link, tools like YourSitee exist to give you a full, customizable Sitee where everything about you is in one place.

Custom Buttons

Manually created buttons with your own text, link, and design. They also appear in your Profile Widget and can be used to direct visitors anywhere you choose.

Customization

The process of personalizing your Sitee’s appearance, including colors, banners, fonts, corner styles, and everything related to how your Sitee looks.

Dashboard

Your control panel for managing your Sitee. From here, you can edit your Sitee, view analytics, manage settings, and customize your content.

Freemium Model

A payment model where the core features are free to use (like YourSitee!), but additional premium features are available for a fee. Most features remain accessible even without a paid plan.

Integration

A connected service or platform (like Discord, Twitch, or Spotify) that works directly with YourSitee to make your Sitee more dynamic.

Layout

The structure or arrangement of your Sitee’s elements. You can choose between different layouts, for example, “Cards” or “Simple,” which change the overall look and feel of your Sitee. A clickable URL that directs visitors to another page, file, or platform. A visual snippet, such as a thumbnail or title, that appears when a link is displayed on your Sitee. A single link that leads to your personalized Sitee, where you can display multiple links, widgets, and content.

Premium

The general term for YourSitee’s paid plans, which unlock exclusive customization options and features.

Pro

The specific name of the current Premium plan, designed for creators and professionals who want to take their Sitee to the next level.

Profile Widget

Your main, non-removable widget. It displays your username, display name, bio, and other details you choose to share (like your location or birthday), along with your social connections and custom buttons.

Search Engine Optimization

Or SEO for short. Settings and techniques that help your Sitee appear better in search engine results, so more people can discover you.

Sitee

This is the term we use to describe a YourSitee account or page. It’s not just a “page” — it’s your Sitee!

Siteers

What we call our users collectively. Instead of “users,” we say Siteers — the people who make up the YourSitee community.

Social Connections

Linked social accounts (like Instagram or TikTok) displayed on your Profile Widget. They make it easy for visitors to find and follow you on other platforms.

Subscription

YourSitee’s plans are subscription-based, meaning you pay on a recurring basis rather than a one-time purchase. You can choose between monthly or annual billing cycles.

User Agreement

A collective term for YourSitee’s legal documents, including (but not limited to) the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Community Standards. By creating an account and using our services, you agree to these terms.

Widget

A visual or interactive element on YourSitee that turns a link into something engaging. For example, a YouTube video, a Spotify track, a blog post, text, or even just a plain link.
